HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT OF AMBER VALLEY SHOOTING CLUB

Our general policy is to: –

Provide adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from clay shoots, shooting on the farmers land and other activities.

Consult with all members and other involved in our activities with regards to their health and safety.

Provide and maintain safe equipment.

Ensure the safe handling of equipment, substances etc.

Ensure all those involved in our activities are competent and provide information, instruction and adequate training, especially to new members, visitors, and juniors.

Prevent accidents and cases of related ill health.

Maintain safe working conditions and review and revise this policy at regular intervals.

Protocol 2 – Talk at clay shoot prior to shoot. To be given by person in charge.
